Retrieves detailed information for a specific customer using their unique identifier. Use this endpoint to view customer profile data, billing address, traits, and lifecycle stage.

Returns the complete customer record including system timestamps and metadata. If the customer does not exist, an empty object is returned for backwards compatibility.
