Details Page
The Detail page provides a focused, single-meter view with full filtering and breakdown options. This is where you analyze usage patterns, investigate cost drivers, and drill into the exact values behind any spike.
Choosing a Meter
Use the “Resource Meter” dropdown to select the meter you want to analyze. Each meter measures one specific type of usage.
Business Unit View
You can start by choosing zero or more business units on the dropdown. If you do not choose any it defaults to data for all business units. It will filter the data to include data only fo ryour selections.
Additionally, you can choose between:
- Total across Business Units
- Breakdown by Business Units
If you choose breakdown, each business unit appears separately in the graph and table.
Adding Dimensions
Dimensions let you slice usage further. Examples include model, provider, key name, token type, and more.
There are two ways to use dimensions:
- Breakdown: Select a dimension without specifying a value. The chart and table will show one line (or bar) per value of that dimension.
- Filter: Select a dimension and specify a value. Only that value will be included.
Dimension values must match exactly. If you are unsure which values exist, use breakdown first to see them.
You can combine multiple dimensions, and the table will show a row for every combination of selected values and breakdowns.
Aggregation Interval
You can change how usage is grouped over time:
- Hourly
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
Daily is the default.
For long date ranges, weekly or monthly may be easier to read.
Chart Type
The Detail page supports multiple chart formats:
- Line chart (default)
- Bar chart
- Horizontal bar
- Stacked bar
Choose the format that makes the most sense for the meter and filters you are using.
Table View
Below the chart is a table showing the exact numeric values that correspond to the chart. This table updates automatically as you change meters, date ranges, dimensions, and filters.
