Ingest Meters from a JDBC Enabled Source
Using metering data from an existing JDBC-compatible source is a common practice. Many systems support JDBC, including:
- MongoDB
- Elasticsearch
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- And many more
Options for Ingesting JDBC Data into Amberflo
You can choose one of the following methods to ingest meter records from your JDBC source:
1. Use Amberflo SDKs
Write custom code using one of our official SDKs to extract data from your JDBC source and ingest it into Amberflo.
- SDKs are available in multiple languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Code samples are available to get you started quickly
2. Use Logstash with the JDBC Plugin
You can use Logstash and its JDBC input plugin to extract data from your JDBC source and upload it to Amberflo's S3 bucket.
3. Use an ETL Tool
Any ETL tool capable of pushing data into S3 can be used. Once data lands in your Amberflo S3 bucket, Amberflo will automatically ingest it.
